| | | | | | | Easter in SpainMonday 18 - Sunday 24 April 2011
Cuenca is one of the most fascinating medieval cities in Spain, perched on top of a hill, in the La Mancha region. The old city is famous for its stunning views, hanging houses and artistic community. Its abstract art museum is one of the most renowned in Spain. During holy week, when the festival takes place, there are lots of religious processions, which attract Spanish visitors from all over La Mancha, creating a colourful spectacle and a great atmosphere in this normally quiet town.
