Buxton Festival

This beautiful old Peak District spa town, with its gem of an Opera House, has hosted an opera festival for over three decades. It is now recognized as one of our most important festivals and includes a lively programme of concerts, talks and other events. 
This year we will be attending 3 operas
and a concert of chamber music.

We will be staying at the grand 4* Palace Hotel close to the station and only a few minutes’ walk from the Opera House and the lovely Pavilion Gardens.
A coach trip to Hardwick Hall is on the agenda
